Snow Storm Dec 17, 2008

The snow came down just as predicted, colder and lighter, and faster than yesterday. Easy to shovel as long as you keep up with it. The snow plow came through once again today, but this time actually gave us a better clearing. Hailey still wasn't quite sure what to do in the snow, it's a little hard to do anything more than wave if your mittens don't have tumb holds.

Casey came home early from Big Bear. When he hit the road, chains were required on all vehicles, usually 4 wheel drives don't need to chain up. But with all the big rig and bus accidents, chains were required.

Snow Storm Dec 16, 2008

Here are the pics of day one of the first snow of the season. We got about 2 feet that day. The plow did one swipe on

our street, not doing a whole lot. Casey was stuck the street from us, and walked home to get supplies to dig himself out. Luckily our landlord has a snowblower and was able to help dig out everyone in our culdesac. Hailey didn't know what to think of the snow, but enjoying trying to catch it in her mouth.
